Junction 12 aims to establish and develop caring, nurturing relationships with 10-18 year olds in the East End of Glasgow and to enable them to make positive and healthy choices in every area of their lives. This role will include group work and individual support.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and pastorally sensitive Christian with experience of working with young people in a school and/or community context. The successful candidate will possess good communication skills together with an ability to work as part of a team and with other organisations.
This post is to cover Adoption Leave and is temporary for up to 1 year. To ensure effective support and role modelling specifically for girls' in Junction 12, we are recruiting a female project worker.
It is an Occupational Requirement (Equality Act - part 1, schedule 9), that the post-holder is female and a committed Christian.
