OUR RESPONSE TO COVID-19

The lockdown of March 2020 was a surprise to us all and Junction 12 had to find new ways to connect with our young people. While working from home the project workers kept in touch with the young people via text and messenger regularly. Some groups met online via Zoom and once restrictions allowed, some small groups and 1-2-1 support took place outside or socially distanced as appropriate. Hundreds of activity packs were posted out or delivered to the young people.

Lockdown March 2020

During the first lockdown we sent out activity packs, recorded videos and met on zoom a lot!

Art Club July 2020

We were unable to run summer camps this year, so during July we ran an art club for S1-2.

Day Camp October 2020

With October camps cancelled we were super excited to be able to take 20 S2's for day camp.

Christmas Hampers 2020

An appeal was launched to raise funds to provide families connected to the project with hampers.
