Day Camp October 2020
With October camps cancelled we were super excited to be able to take 20 S2's for day camp.
Art Club July 2020
During the month of July, Smithycroft invited Junction 12 to run a 4 week activity programme for S1&2 pupils in a classroom set up for socially distant lessons.
Lockdown March 2020
During the lockdown in March 2020 we sent out activity pack, recorded videos and met on zoom a lot!
S1 Girls' Pizza & Paint Party
We had a big group of S1 pupils in for some pizza and painting self-portraits.
Christmas Party 2019
We celebrated Christmas 2019 with a group of S1-S6 pupils from Smithycroft. The evening consisted of turkey with all the trimmings and lots of Christmassy themed games. Lots of fun was had by all!
Illuminate Weekend 2019
In November, we took a bunch of our young people from our Illuminate group to Lendrick Muir for the weekend. We had opportunities to play football, high ropes course, make a group art piece or have fun in a drama workshop!
October Weekend 2019
This year we celebrated Christmas in October with a group of S1-S3 pupils from Smithycroft.
AV1 2019
Every July we take a large group of senior young people away to Alltnacriche, just outside Aviemore, for a week's holiday. With young people from Ferrywell Youth Project, Edinburgh, we enjoy lots of outdoor and indoor activities, deepening relationships and exploring the Bible in a relevant and enjoyable way.
Primary Weekend 2019
Every May we take a large group of P6 & P7 pupils away for a short holiday of games, activities, stories, drama, group work and tasty food. All the children this year came from the four primary schools Junction 12 work in: Cranhill Primary, Carntyne Primary, Sunnyside Primary and Avenue End Primary.
S1-S3 Easter Camp 2019
Christmas Party 2018
We celebrated Christmas with a group of S1-S6 pupils from Smithycroft at Robroyston Church of Scotland on a wet and cold Tuesday evening in December. The evening consisted of turkey with all the trimmings, a quiz, sing-alongs and lots of other Christmassy themed games. Lots of fun was had by all involved!
Illuminate Weekend 2018
Every November we take our Illuminate group away to Lendrick Muir for the weekend. Here we can enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Lendrick Muir, explore the story of Gideon together, have a go at activities such as the King Swing and ropes courses or crafts and cooking while taking time to deepen relationships and get to know each other better. This year we held an art exhibition of a group collaborative work and performed a drama piece.
S1-S3 October Weekend 2018
very October, in partnership with SU Scotland and SU Holidays, we take a group of S1-S3 aged pupils from Smithycroft Secondary, Bannerman High School and Eastbank Academy away to Lendrick Muir for a weekend of fun, challenges, Bible stories, outdoor adventures and much more. This year we tried out some new creative activity options which went down a treat!
Trips & Outings 2017-2018
Throughout the year, J12 runs trips and outings to various places with different age groups. This year we've been to swimming at Time Capsule, Ice-skating, roller disco-ing, adventure golfing, biscuit decorating, game playing, laser tagging, pottery painting and many many more! AV1 2018
A selection of photos from our annual week-long camp up at Alltnacriche with 23 15-18 year olds predominantly from Junction 12 and Dime/Ferrywell project in Edinburgh with others from Parkhead and Shettleston.
Primary Summer Party
Before the schools broke off for Summer, we gathered out SU groups from Cranhill Primary, Carntyne Primary, Avenue End Primary and Sunnyside Primary together for a fun afternoon of inflatables, parachute games, crafts and snacks outside in teh beautiful sunshine.

During the Easter school holidays, we went to Auchengillan with 22 of our S1 and S2s from Smithycroft.
